Two Russian submarines have fired seven cruise missiles from the Mediterranean at ISIL targets in Syria, reported RT, citing Russia’s Defense Ministry on Thursday.
The missiles hit all the planned targets, which were within a range of 500 to 670 kilometers, the ministry added.
Targets hit included “control centers, communication hubs, militant weapons and ammunition warehouses in areas of
southeastern Deir al-Zor under the control of ISIL,” the ministry said in a statement.
