This year’s Chinese Qingming Festival, also known as Tomb-Sweeping Day, falls on April 5. During the festival, people in southern areas like to eat Qingtuan, a sweet green rice dumpling. The dumpling was used to worship ancestors in the past, but nowadays people eat it as a festival food.
