CGTN spoke to politicians from different countries about the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC) ahead of the high-profile meeting set to open on October 18 in Beijing.
In an interview with the spokesman of the Pakistan Muslim League-Q Party, Kamil Ali Agha, lauded the role of the CPC in promoting China's economic growth and improving people's livelihood.
He said the CPC has managed to lift China out of poverty and transformed the country into the world's economic engine.
He also hailed the inter-party communication in the past years.
PML(Q) Party has excellent relations with the CPC, and the two parties have frequent meetings, Kamil said.
Former Pakistan's leader Benazir Bhutto had laid the foundation for the bilateral ties between the two nations, he said, adding that the two countries are watching out for each other's interests.
