Circus tiger attacks trainer during show

A circus tiger attacked a trainer during a live show in Yingkou, northeast China’s Liaoning Province on August 20.
The tiger dragged the man around a large cage as another trainer beat the big cat with a stick before the tiger let go of its paws and ran off the stage.
The trainer was said to sustain no life-threatening injuries.
The circus has reduced the number of performances, saying the animal must have been "tired."
