At the Two Sessions in China, senior officials discussed reforms for the nation's state-owned enterprises.
Xiao Yaqing, director of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, told journalists that China's economic growth must shift from high speed to high quality.
Xiao said China will promote the rapid transformation of manufacturers, put more resources into emerging industries and emphasize quality.
He added high-quality development must be transparent for state-owned enterprises  and that China wants to cooperate with more international businesses.
