The Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) held a military parade on Kim Il Sung Square on Thursday, one day before the opening of the PyeongChang Winter Olympics. The leader of the DPRK, Kim Jong Un, and his wife attended the event marking the 70th anniversary of the founding of the country’s armed forces.
