Chinese Premier Li Keqiang arrived in Budapest on Sunday local time for the sixth Summit of Heads of Government of China and Central and Eastern European Countries (CEEC) and an official visit.
It's the first trip to Europe by a Chinese leader since the 19th CPC National Congress last month.
China and the 16 Central and Eastern European countries will sign a series of agreements ranging from trade, investment, finance, green economy to tech innovation and cultural exchanges, Chinese Foreign Ministry said.
During his official visit to Hungary, Li will meet with President Janos Ader and Speaker of the National Assembly Laszlo Kover.
The two countries will sign deals covering infrastructure, trade and e-commerce.
Li will visit Russia to attend the 16th meeting of the Council of Heads of Government (Prime Ministers) of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) in the city of Sochi from November 30 to December 1.
On the sidelines of the meeting, Li will also hold bilateral meetings with the leaders from relevant countries.
