Chinese movies in spotlight in Qingdao

Ahead of China's upcoming week-long National Day holiday, an event to promote some of the country's latest movie releases is underway in the eastern coastal city of Qingdao, Shandong Province.
The three-day event began on Wednesday, and covers promotions, screenings and seminars concerning the latest from the Chinese silver screen.
And with over 500 representatives showcasing their latest productions, it’s sure to be a bumper crop for movie fans.
