Fishermen in Bayan Nur City of north China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region started winter fishing again on Saturday in the Ulansuhai Nur, or Wuliangsuhai Lake, after a hiatus of over 20 years. The haul was more than 20,000 kilograms of fish, all netted out of the lake. The fishermen used big mesh nets, so that small fish could escape and sustain the other fish living in the lake. The biggest fish of the entire catch was one meter long and weighed 20 kilograms. It was the star of a great many photos with fishermen and others.
