China launched a Long March-11 carrier rocket at 12:12 p.m. on Friday from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in southwestern Gansu Province, sending six satellites into orbit.
The Long March-11 is carrying the Jilin-1 07 and 08 commercial Earth observation satellites into space.
Jilin-1 is a remote sensing satellite designed to provide high-definition video imaging.
The launch is China's fourth in 2018 and also the 264th using the Long March carrier rocket series.
