The World Political Parties Dialogue concluded on Sunday after four days of meetings in Beijing, with world party leaders agreeing on a "Beijing Initiative" to foster international cooperation and a more cohesive global community.
Around 600 leaders from 120 countries and different parties agreed on their responsibility in this regard.
Chinese State Councilor Yang Jiechi, also a member of the 19th Communist Party of China Central Committee, gave the initiative his seal of approval in a speech at the closing ceremony.
"The innovative theoretical and practical outcomes of the 19th CPC National Congress not only have milestone significance for the development of China, but also provide good examples for the development of other countries, especially developing countries," Yang said.
The "Beijing Initiative" seeks to strengthen cooperation, deepen trust and friendship, and enhance communication among the world’s political parties. While exploring and understanding the differences in modern diplomatic relationships, all sides should respect and learn from others to build stronger connections in the hope they will benefit all mankind.

The initiative wins wide support among leaders who were at the ceremony.
“The proposal of the Beijing Initiative is really helpful for the relationship between our two parties and our two countries. The most important thing about the initiative is the economic cooperation among various countries. Such cooperation leads to the promotion of relations in culture and politics,” Dmitry Novikov, Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation said.
The Beijing Initiative also highlighted that the lasting peace and global security have increasingly become the aspiration of people worldwide. It's the unshakable responsibility and mission of political parties to steer the world in this direction.
“The CPC and the general-secretary and president Xi is committed to humankind, and for other countries and to all the global class together to tackle global problems, and again, the obstacles. This is concrete determination of strong party building,” Demeke Mekonnen, the deputy chairman of the Ethiopian People’s Revolutionary Democratic Front and deputy prime minister of Ethiopia, said.
