In a white paper published on Tuesday, China says it adopts policies on freedom of religious belief based on national and religious conditions. According to the white paper: citizens' right to freedom of religious belief is protected by law. Religious activity in China is carried out in an orderly manner, and religious groups have made great contributions to Chinese society. And religious believers and non-believers respect each other, and live in harmony.
