Xi Jinping, General Secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, called on the Party to continue to comprehensively deepen reform. Xi made the remarks at the opening session of the 19th CPC National Congress on Wednesday while delivering a work report highlighting the Party’s experiences over the past five years and laying out his vision for the Party, the nation and the people.
