A tour bus carrying 25 travelers from the Chinese mainland has hit a bridge in the city of Kaohsiung, south of Taiwan. Twenty-one of the 28 people on board were injured, three of them seriously. Police are now investigating the cause of the accident. Local media have quoted the driver as saying he was neither tired nor under the influence of alcohol at the time of the accident.
