An earthquake with a magnitude of 4.9 hit Yilan County in Taiwan at 10:47 p.m. BJT on Monday, according to China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC).
The epicenter was monitored at 24.61 degrees north latitude and 121.63 degrees east longitude with a depth of 59 kilometers.
No casualties or damages have been reported in the earthquake, but tremor was felt across Taiwan and in various regions of southeast China's Fujian Province.
