8 killed, 50 injured in Burundi grenade blast

Eight people were killed and over 50 injured in a grenade attack in a bar in Burundi's central Kayanza Province on Sunday evening, police said on Monday.
According to a tweet from police spokesman Pierre Nkurikiye, the "terrorist attack" happened at around 6:30 p.m. local time.

Six people died at the scene, while two more died later in hospital, local media reported citing witnesses in Gatara.
It is still not clear who was responsible for the attack and what the motive was.
