Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi held talks with Nepal's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Affairs Minister Krishna Bahadur Mahara in Beijing on Thursday.
Wang said that China is willing to strengthen high-level exchanges with Nepal, deepen cooperation in key areas such as interconnection, post-disaster reconstruction, trade, investment, energy and tourism.
Mahara said that all internal factions in Nepal have firmly agreed on developing relations with China. Nepal is also committed to upholding the one-China principle and will never allow anyone to use Nepalese territory to engage in activities that undermine China's sovereignty and interests.
