A colorful parade kicked off the Year of the Dog in London, as tens of thousands descended on Chinatown on Sunday for the biggest Chinese New Year celebration outside of Asia. Londoners marked the Chinese New Year with a vibrant parade through the city. Chinatown was adorned in traditional lanterns, and hosted folk performances and a light show. The dog traditionally represents noble traits, and is associated with loyalty, honesty, intelligence and a strong sense of right and wrong.
