Updated 23:15, 22-Aug-2019
Our reporter Zhu Dan asked the former Hong Kong Chief Prosecutor about the legal aspects of the ongoing riots and the penalty violent rioters are facing.
ZHU DAN CGTN REPORTER  "As a Barrister, law professor, and the former Hong Kong Chief Prosecutor, how do you see the escalation of violence in Hong Kong?"
ZHU DAN CGTN REPORTER "In case of protesters attacking mainland visitors, what penalties they can face for such actions?"
ZHU DAN CGTN REPORTER "Another mainland journalist was confronted and questioned by Hong Kong reporters in the press conference at police headquarters on Tuesday. She was accused of taking pictures of local journalists. But she said it is a press conference, so everyone can take pictures because all of them are journalists. Some are questioning the way she was treated. What do you think?"
