Novak Djokovic knocked out of Australian Open by world No. 58 Chung Hyeon

Former world No.1 Novak Djokovic was defeated by World No.58 Chung Hyeon with a straight sets victory by 7-6 (4), 7-5, 7-6 (3) in men’s singles fourth round on Monday as the six-time Australian Open champion struggled with injury.
Novak Djokovic has won a total of 12 Grand Slam titles in his career, and has held the No. 1 spot in the ATP rankings for a total of 223 weeks. Following his victory at the 2016 French Open, he became the third man to hold all four major titles at once while he is the eighth in history to achieve the Career Grand Slam.

The Serbs has struggled with elbow issues for a long time and finished his last season after Wimbledon.
Chung has become the first South Korean to reach a singles quarterfinal at any Grand Slam where he will face American Tennys Sandgren, who beats fifth seed Dominic Thiem on Monday.
"I was just trying to copy Novak because he's my idol. My dreams have come true tonight," said Chung Hyeon.
Djokovic congratulated Chung and his team, calling his performance "amazing."

"He was a better player on the court tonight. He deserved to win, no question about it. Whenever he was in trouble, he came up with some unbelievable shots, passing shots. Just from the back of the court, you know, he was like a wall. It's impressive. I wish him all the best," said Djokovic.
