Chinese scientists have invented an ingenious waterproof, fire-resistant paper. Temperatures of 1,000 degrees Celsius would reduce a normal sheet to ashes, but the newly-invented paper remains intact. The pioneering paper is made with hydroxyapatite, found in human bones and teeth, which is harmless to the human body. This waterproof and fire-resistant paper has wide potential applications, including being used to preserve important documents.
