More speed skating from Pyeongchang, where the Chinese women's squad was looking to progress in the team pursuit. The squad in the quarter-finals, and trying to progress into the final four.
China dispatching Li Dan, Han Mei and Hao Jiacheng for the race. The PRC facing Japan in their heat. This is not a head-to-head event, as squads are fighting the clock. China did not have one of the top four times, and do not advance, they go against Germany for fifth now. The semi-finals and final is set for Wednesday.
In women's curling, China fall 10-4 to the U-S, and now have a 3-4 record after nine draws, and sit in sixth position, only the top four squads make it to the playoffs. Their next match is against the world champion rink from Canada.
In two-man bobsleigh, China would have two teams, the first time the country has had competitors at the event, the teams of Li Chunjia & Wang Sidong, and Jin Jian & Shi Hao fail to reach the final. Canada and Germany shared the gold.
Norway soared to their first-ever team ski jumping gold, finishing ahead of Germany and Poland to claim their 11th gold of the Games. It was Norway's second ski jumping title in South Korea, after Maren Lundby won the women's normal hill individual event.
