US President Donald Trump said, "It is under my administration, we will always defend the very first right in the Declaration of Independence, and that is the right to life.” He made the remarks at a time when thousands of anti-abortion activists held protest demonstration, shouting slogans in support for the unborn on Friday. In the year since, Trump has delivered rules and policies he promised to help curb abortion rights. He also proclaimed January 19 as National Sanctity of Life Day.
