The Chinese government says it wants to build the southern metropolis of Shenzhen into what it calls "a global model city with distinguished competitiveness, innovation capability and influence." And an innovation hub for youth in the heart of the city is demonstrating that potential, and in the process attracting more talent from neighboring Hong Kong and elsewhere. CGTN reporter Zhou Jiaxin shows us more.

The Qianhai Shenzhen-Hong Kong Youth Innovation and Entrepreneur Hub, or Qianhai "dream work," was launched five years ago. It's now open to 388 privileged startups, half of them are led by young entrepreneurs from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, as well as foreign countries.
Jason Li is working with an AI camera startup, and explains the advantages entrepreneurs have in Qianhai.

Apart from creating opportunities for young entrepreneurs, the Qianhai authority introduced an internship program to Hong Kong students this year, supporting their business activities in the area.
