At least 55 militants were killed and 37 others wounded during the latest military operations across Afghanistan in the last 24 hours, Xinhua News Agency reported on Wednesday, citing the country's Defense Ministry.
According to a statement by the ministry, the Afghan security forces have launched a series of operations against enemies in different Afghan provinces within the last 24 hours.
The statement did not mention whether there were any casualties on the side of the security forces.
