The South Korean Blue House has said in a news briefing that the DPRK's leader Kim Jong-un invited South Korean President Moon Jae-in to a summit in Pyongyang. The invitation, delivered by Kim's visiting sister Kim Yo Jong, said Kim was willing to meet Moon "at the earliest date possible". The Blue House said Moon also asked the DPRK to engage in dialogue with the United States. The news conference came after Moon Jae-in met with the DPRK's top legislator Kim Yong Nam as well as the DPRK leader's sister Kim Yo Jong.
