On the European migrant crisis now. Germany has launched a renewed campaign to declare Georgia and three North African states "safe countries of origin". Other nations on the list include all EU members, six Balkan countries, Ghana and Senegal. The move aims to reduce the migrant influx into Germany by creating undermining potential asylum claims.
