Plane crashes into Perth river on Australia Day Two people were killed when their stunt plane crashed into the Swan River in Perth during Australia Day celebrations on Thursday. The plane was part of an airshow ahead of Perth’s annual Skyworks fireworks display, which was expected to attract 300,000 people but was cancelled following the crash.
