At least 26 people were injured by severe turbulence on a China Eastern Airlines flight bound for Kunming, southwest China's Yunnan Province on Sunday morning, Xinhua reported.
Flight MU774 from Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport was about to land at Kunming Changshui International Airport when it encountered a severe turbulence.
The injured have been taken to the First People's Hospital of Yunnan Province and Yan'an Hospital Affilated to Kunming Medical University, after the plane landed in Kunming at around 9:00 a.m. local time.
None of the injured are in a critical condition. The incident came a week after a China Eastern flight heading for Shanghai from Sydney was forced to turn back and conduct an emergency landing, due to a problem with the plane's engine.
