Two autonomous vehicles conducted their first open road test on the roads outside the National Intelligent Connected Vehicle Pilot Zone in Shanghai on Thursday. Relying on their 360-degree sensor and radar equipment, the vehicles can identify traffic lights, directional signals, barriers to their driving.
