Nongfu Spring has reached a strategic agreement with NetEase Cloud Music for a "happy bottle" that is equipped with an Augmented Reality (AR) element, Beijing News reported.
The first limited-edition bottle will be promoted  in 69 cities including Beijing, Shanghai and Hangzhou. At the same time it will be sold online at JD.com.
According to Xinhua, the "happy bottle" is full of musical elements. It contains a picture of a vinyl record and users' musical comments are shown on the plastic cover. If users log into NetEase Cloud Music App, they can go through a closed loop musical experience doing everything from reading comments to scanning cyber codes and sharing music.

Xinhua reported that to improve musical entertainment and interaction, users can experience customized AR by scanning the pattern on the bottle. After scanning the pattern, a mobile phone interface will place users in the midst of an immersed starry sky. Users can take photos and share their photos immediately on the social platform.
Nongfu Spring and NetEase Cloud Music are specialized in different business fields, so the agreement was reached after their deliberate consideration, according to Xinhua's report.
Through this partnership, Nongfu Spring wants to attract more attention and appreciation from young users.
A director working for Nongfu Spring said the crossover marketing between Nongfu Spring and NetEase Cloud Music takes advantage of each other's benefits. Considering input-output ratio, Nongfu Spring spends more costs on channels widely connected with consumers.
