Plane skids off runway in Turkey’s Trabzon Airport

A Pegasus airplane carrying 162 passengers skidded off the runway after landing in Trabzon Airport, Turkey, early Sunday.

According to local authorities, all passengers and crew on board were evacuated and safe, while the cause of the accident remains unknown.

The airport closed until 8:00 a.m. local time (05:00 GMT) and a number of flights were canceled.
