The 34-year-old, who is out of contract in June, has mainly featured from the substitutes bench this campaign and revealed during a sponsor's event, his future lies away from the Wanda Metropolitano.
Torres first featured for Los Colchoneros in 2001 as 17-year-old and went on to score 91 goals in 244 appearances before switching to Liverpool in 2008 for 20 million pounds. In three years at Anfield he netted 81 times and controversially transferred to Chelsea for 50 million. On the international front, Torres has featured 110 times for Spain, scoring on 38 occasions and winning the European championship in 2008, the World Cup in 2010 and then the Euros again in 2012 where he won the Golden Boot.
