Members of China's top political advisory body submitted 5,360 proposals during the first session of the 13th CPPCC National Committee, according to a report on the examination of proposals addressed at the closing meeting of the annual session in Beijing on Thursday morning.
After being reviewed, 4,438 proposals have been put on file, including 4,049 from the CPPCC members and 389 from groups.
The proposals cover five development categories: economic, political, cultural, social and ecological.
