The DPRK leader said Pyongyang will strengthen bilateral cooperation with Beijing. Kim also stressed that the DPRK firmly stands for denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula. Wang's two-day visit in the DPRK is at the invitation of his counterpart, Ri Yong Ho. In talks with Ri on Wednesday, Wang said that China fully backs the DPRK's efforts to achieve denuclearization on the peninsula. Beijing has always showed support for this sort of diplomacy.
