Palestinian women's struggle for gender equality is exacerbated by the Israeli occupation and a traditionally patriarchal society. However, a new project is teaching Palestinian women practical, real-life skills in order to help them achieve a previously unattainable level of independence. CGTN's Stephanie Freid has this report.
