Four people were killed in a shooting at a university in Eskisehir in northwestern Turkey on Thursday, reports said.

The alleged shooter was identified by the Anadolu Agency as a researcher at Osmangazi University. The news agency said he shot dead a vice dean, a faculty secretary, a lecturer and another staff member.

The armed suspect was later arrested and the motive of the attack remains unclear, according to BBC Turkish.
