We begin with trade frictions between the world's two largest economies. China says it opposes potential unilateral and protectionist trade practices by the US, with the Commerce Ministry warning it'll take necessary measures to defend its rights and interests.  The Foreign Ministry also said Beijing hopes to hold constructive talks with Washington to settle the issues brought about by impending tariffs.
