A South Korean court is set to deliver its verdict on former president Park Geun-hye today. Prosecutors are seeking a 30-year sentence and a heavy fine for Park, after indicting her on charges that included bribery, abuse of power and coercion. Park has denied wrongdoing and pleaded not guilty. She is not expected to be in court when the verdict is delivered. The 66-year-old has been in jail since March last year. Her scandal has so far landed the heads of South Korea's largest conglomerates in jail, including Samsung.
