Two soldiers killed in jihadist attacks in Mali

In Mali, local officials say jihadists attacked a military base in the country's north on Saturday morning, killing two soldiers.
One official told reporters that many others had been abducted, and all the camp's military material had been ransacked.
The attack was subsequently confirmed by an army source. Northern Mali has been beset by unrest in recent months, with four people having been killed in an jihadist assault on a UN peacekeepers' base in Kidal earlier this month.
That attack was claimed by a jihadist group with links to Al-Qaeda.
