The Blake Griffin era in Los Angeles is officially over, as the power forward has been dealt to the Detroit Pistons. The former number one overall pick and slam dunk champ ushered in the high-flying era along with Chris Paul, and DeAndre Jordan. That trio led the Clips to six playoff appearances, but never to a conference final.
The Clippers received Tobias Harris, Avery Bradley, Boban Marjanovic and a first-and-second-round draft pick. Heading to the Motor City with the five-time all-star are Brice Johnson and Willie Reed. Also worth mentioning is Blake's contract, as he signed a five-year 171-million dollar deal in the offseason, and LA will certainly be happy to get out from that. Both teams are fighting for a playoff spot in their respective conference and each team thinks they have made the right move.
