CGTN reporter Liu Yang sat down with Jens Hildebrandt, the Executive Director of the German Chamber of Commerce in Beijing. Hildebrandt says in dealing with the current implication of China-US trade tension, German companies are looking to reinvigorate the world trade order with the help of the WTO.
LIU YANG BEIJING "Some analysts have pointed out that the German economy is on the verge of stagnation and recession. In particular, the current trade war between China and the United States has damaged several of Germany's interests. How do German companies view the trade war between U.S. and China? How are they dealing with the current situation?"
LIU YANG BEIJING "According to statistics, bilateral trade volume between China and Germany has increased 100 times in the past 40 years. Germany was also the first European country to support the Belt and Road initiative. What updated measures will be taken in the fields of economic and trade cooperation in the future?"
LIU YANG BEIJING "How do you see future cooperation in the fields of high tech, for example, 5G, and AI between the two countries?"
