Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe plans to pay a four-day visit to the United States from April 17th for talks with President Donald Trump. Abe said he would ask Trump to bring up the DPRK abductions of Japanese citizens forty years ago, during the expected summit with DPRK leader Kim Jong Un. Meanwhile, opinion polls by Japanese media show that about half the voters don't support the Abe administration, amid the suspected cronyism and cover-up over a state-owned land deal scandal.
