People across China have organized various activities to celebrate the 68th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China ahead of the country's National Day on October 1.
In Dongxing City of south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, villagers grew colorful paddies of more than 3.33 hectares to form a huge national flag, and Chinese characters of "Chinese Dream".
Also in Wuyuan County of east China's Jiangxi Province, local villagers formed a pattern of the Five-star Red Flag, China's national flag, and the figure "68" with 6,800 red carps to mark the special day, attracting tourists to take photos.
More than 300 primary school students and their teachers formed Chinese characters meaning "I love China" in Longyou County of east China's Zhejiang Province. They also formed "looking forward to the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China" on the playground to express their love of the motherland.
In Beijing, Chinese phrases meaning “Amazing China” and “My Awesome Homeland” were seen on skyscrapers at night to mark the National Day.
