Aspiring journalism students said it was their dream to work for the country's most influential media outlet.
Senior reporters, anchors, directors and producers from CCTV's news, documentary and commentary shows shared their experiences and the qualifications they are looking for from the next generation of media talent.
CCTV anchor Ouyang Xiadan said she hopes young people today are not only competent and passionate, but can also show professionalism in a digital era full of self-published writers.
Liu Qian from CCTV’s human resources department said the company is now accepting applications for editors, reporters, producers as well as positions in international communications, management and technology.
The deadline for online resume submission is December 10. Written tests and interviews will follow. Liu said talent from both home and abroad is wanted.
