Guangzhou beats Tianjin to stop two-game losing streak

Former Oklahoma City Thunder guard Semaj Christon scored 24 points on his debut to help Guangzhou beat Tianjin 121-95 in the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) league on Friday.
The new import made an immediate impression by scoring the first basket of the game  as both teams looked to end two-game losing streaks. 
Gu Yuezhuo hit from the corner in the second quarter before showing he can connect from the top of the key as well, as Guangzhou surged ahead by 22 at half-time.

Tianjin's Pooh Jeter got into the act by drilling a three-ball from downtown, on the way to a game-high 28 points, but  his team still received a third straight defeat.
In the Sunday's schedule, Qingdao will host Guangdong while Shenzhen entertain Shanxi. Leaders Liaoning take on Beikong while the team right on their heels, Shandong, will visit Sichuan. Defending champs Xinjiang will head to Nanjing, and struggling Jilin will welcome Beijing.
