China's top legislature holds plenary meeting
The first session of the 13th National People's Congress (NPC) held a plenary meeting on Saturday in Beijing.
At the meeting, the lawmakers adopted a massive cabinet restructuring plan to make the government better structured, more efficient, and service-oriented.
Wang Qishan was elected vice president of China.
Nearly 3,000 lawmakers also elected 14 vice chairpersons and the secretary-general of the NPC Standing Committee.
