Kids in America: Chinese culture a hit with LA youngsters

Traditional Chinese culture is finding a new fanbase…among kids in the US city with the largest Chinese population, Los Angeles.
A number of non-government organizations and cultural exchange groups in the city are teaching local children classical Chinese art forms such as Peking opera and traditional dance.
And with “China Day” events being held in a number of local museums, it seems China’s cultural heritage is beginning to have an impact on West Coast USA.
