India successfully test-fired the nuclear-capable Prithvi-II missile in Odisha on Wednesday, local media reported.
The trial of the surface-to-surface missile was carried out at around 11:35 a.m. local time (0605 GMT), and was described as a complete success by Indian media.
According to media reports, the Prithvi-II has a strike range of 350 kilometers, and is capable of carrying 500-1,000 kg of warheads.
