A snow tiger, a rare variant of the Bengal tiger and an endangered species, gave birth to quintuplets on Monday night in the city of Ji'nan, east China's Shandong Province. The mutation, which occurs at a rate of about one in every 100,000, gives the tiger its distinctive color.
